ON.  Previously, Woodson held the title of Chief Executive Officer and was responsible for all development, construction and operations activities.  The company now operates 19 wind facilities in the U.S. totaling more than 2,900 megawatts.  Woodson also oversees the energy services business for E. ON started in 2015.  He has held positions as COO, Chief Development Officer and VP of Development.  Woodson was a co-founder of Renewable Generation, a project development company which sold its interests to Airtricity and was later acquired by E. On.   The Renewable Generation assets served as the primary pipeline which E. ON operates today.  Woodson has been involved in the wind business since the mid 1990s.  He is a graduate of the University of Texas at Austin.

    Gerrud Wallaert is Vice President, Regional Operations for E.ON Climate and Renewables NA. In his role, Gerrud is responsible for six wind generation assets in the areas of safety, strategy, operations management, personnel, and budgets and serves on a leadership team with responsibilities of 2.9 GW of wind power generation in North America.

    After earning a degree in Electrical Engineering from the Louisiana Tech University, Gerrud started his professional career in 2001 with Entergy Services, Inc. as a System Operator ensuring the reliability of the transmission system.

    Gerrud joined Southwest Power Pool in 2002 as an Operations Engineer and transitioned to the position of Senior Regulatory and Policy Engineering in 2006. While at Southwest Power Pool, he supported the company in State and Federal regulatory filings, policy research concerning tariff and electric market rules, and other operations and regulatory topics.

    With the foundation of electric utility experience, Gerrud entered into the renewable generation sector with Acciona Energy in 2009 as Manager, System Operations Center with responsibilities including the 24 / 7 remote operations of over 700 MWs of wind generation in the US and Canada, Regulatory Compliance, and SCADA Engineering. In 2011, he transitioned to E.ON Climate and Renewables where he has served in several different Operational roles and recently served as Head of Asset Planning in Essen, Germany, were he oversaw the O&M and Parts Strategy, O&M Processes, Budgeting and KPI oversight, and Operational Risk Management for E.ON’s global onshore and offshore wind portfolio totaling more than 4.8 GW of wind generation.

    Gerrud obtained his Master’s in Business Administration from Loyola University Chicago in 2013..

    Brian Hayes is Executive Vice President, Asset Operations of EDP Renewables North America LLC (EDPR NA). Brian leads the Asset Management, Field Operations, Control Center, Performance Management, and Health and Safety departments, overseeing the commercial obligations, operational day to day activities, and performance of EDPR NA’s operating wind farms.

    Brian joined EDPR NA, then Horizon Wind Energy, in 2006, leading the Performance Analysis and Asset Management teams, while the company’s operating fleet has grown from 500 to more than 5,200 megawatts (MW). Brian led many commercial resolutions with turbine suppliers for specific technical issues, the development of sophisticated performance analysis tools, and the implementation of many new processes to handle day-to-day operations, offtaker and investor obligations, settlements, budgeting/P&L management activities, and safety practices and regulations (OHSAS 18000 registered). Additionally, Brian has led the transition from formerly outsourcing many operational activities to bringing many activities in-house, self-performing HV and turbine work. Currently, EDPR NA self-performs maintenance on 800 MW with firm plans to expand this to 1,400 MW over the next year.

Chris has a BSME from Virginia Tech and an MBA from the University of Phoenix.

Mike is an advocate not and advisory, his goal is to help each individual employee of Leeward Energy and our contractors go home safely each day and to enjoy a safe time with their families.

    Mike is a 10-year member of the AWEA Safety Committee and the Post Chair of the AWEA Safety Steering Committee. Mike is a founding member of the Iowa Wind Energy Association and has served on the Board of Directors for 9 years. Mike is currently serving on the ANSI A10 Sub-Committee for the Demolition of Wind Turbines. Mike is also a OTI OSHA 501 Instructor.

    Mike is married to his beautiful wife Lisa for 9 years in March of 2017, we have 5 children and 6 grandchildren, 2 more on the way. Mike and Lisa enjoy traveling and we have a great system for our lives…Mike cooks (he enjoys cooking on the grill and smoker) and Lisa cleans. We spend most of our time together outside doing something….and in Minnesota that can be cold. I love to fish and hunt as well as messing with dogs and livestock. Mike looking forward to moving back to my home state of Texas after almost a 20 year absents.

    Lee has been in the Power Industry for 30 years, with the exception of a short but valuable period in quarry operations. An Engineer by qualification, Lee’s Power Industry experience is wide ranging, to include conventional - coal, oil & gas power plant operations, process auditing, provision and development of power engineering services and consultancy for in-house and 3 rd parties across the globe. Lee has since been working directly in the renewables business for the last 8 years further developing his experience in acquisition and due diligence of projects, including: renewable projects within the Kyoto CDM/JI development process, offshore JV development and asset management, before moving into the onshore business for RWE in 2014.

    Brent A. Wise, a 30-year veteran of the Dallas Fire/Rescue Department, is a co-founder of Tech Safety Lines, Inc.     Kevin Stenson has served as the Sales Manager of Energy Weather for Western North America for Schneider Electric since February 2016. He is responsible for key energy customers in Trading, T&D, Generation and O&M that requires in-depth knowledge of the company’s products and services as well as the understanding of the market and customer business models.

    Prior to joining Schneider Electric, Mr. Stenson gained more than 20 years of experience in professional meteorology. He was most recently responsible for developing and managing a market-leading European weather consulting company’s energy and transportation business in the United States and Canada.

    Before transitioning to business development and sales, Mr. Stenson spent several years in energy trading as an operational meteorologist working on trading floors, first for a large utility in Houston and eventually for Citadel Investment Group in Chicago. Mr. Stenson also gained two years of European international experience building the weather analysis team for a large German utility, RWE. Prior to working in energy commodities he worked for a private weather firm forecasting for newspapers, transportation agencies, and energy utilities. He also worked for The Weather Channel producing forecasts for live television.

    Mr. Stenson has a B.S. degree in meteorology with a minor in mathematics from the University of Oklahoma. He served 2 terms on the American Meteorological Society’s Energy Committee and was a founding member and Chair of the Financial Weather Risk Management Committee, both of which are a part of the AMS Commission on Weather, Water, and Climate Enterprise.

    Kevin is located in St. Louis and is married with a young son and daughter thus ensuring the Cardinals Nation will live on!

She then completed a Master degree in maritime management and became a Fleet Operator for Fednav International, where she had to solve complex logistical and legal issues on a daily basis. In 2000, she joined the Shipping Federation as Director, Environment and Electronics. President of the International Joint Commission Navigation committee, she was also the Federation’s official delegate to the Canadian Marine Advisory Council on environmental issues. In 2004, she became Director, Business Development, for Innovation maritime, an Applied Research Center with focus on engineering and software solutions in green alternatives. She also worked as an Analyst for the Université du Québec à Rimouski and is the author of several articles in peer reviewed publications. In 2013, she co-founded ADRIA, an environmentally-friendly and fair trade company, with production based in Nepal and India. She was responsible for deploying the Marketing & Sales strategy and Quality control program. Recently, as she moved to the Wind Power Hub of Gaspe, she joined KUMA’s team, as the Canadian-based Wind Turbine Brake Pads manufacturer was entering the US market.

    Jorn Hammer is a Danish born and Australian based energy executive, who has been involved in the energy industry across the globe. With almost three decades of professional experience, Mr. Hammer has honed his expertise in renewable energy, power generation, strategy development, business turn around and international business.

    Mr. Hammer started his career as a Marine engineer working on bulk carriers with long stints in open water, and developed a solution focused mindset based on cooperation and a ‘can do’ attitude.

    Mr. Hammer worked for Vestas for 16 years, most which was as a Senior Vice president. Mr. Hammer was responsible for opening markets throughout Asia and in South Africa and establish the business in Australia. Mr. Hammer later was asked to take on a leading role in the global turn around for Vestas and after the successful global turnaround, Mr. Hammer was asked to move to India and successfully reestablished the Vestas presence through developing and implementing a new strategy.

    After returning to Australia Mr. Hammer established Emendo Energy, a global advisory company, and uses his deep understanding and insight knowledge of the Energy Industry and dealings with Governments around the globe to pursue his passion ensuring renewable becomes the energy of choice delivering affordable, secure and clean energy, by supporting customers ensuring their investments delivers on, or better the business case and developing innovative ways to develop and operate renewable assets.

    Mr. Hammer is also an advisor to boards and startups supporting new technology being commercialized in the renewable space.

    Mr. Hammer developed a partnership with Bahwan Cybertek (BCT), an established and highly progressive software house from India, and together they offer a software solution which gives investors, owners and operators a unique insight to the technical and commercial performance of their assets, with an analytical capability on par with the OEM’s.

    Mr. Hammer has management education from both INSEAD and IMD.
