Ince & Co Company Overview

Ince & Co provides legal advice to clients in the energy and offshore, aviation, insurance, international trade and shipping industries. We advise clients on commercial disputes as well as on corporate and transactional matters. With over 600 people, including over 95 partners and more than 180 other lawyers worldwide, we practise English, French, German, Greek, Hong Kong and PRC law. Singapore law advice is provided by Incisive Law LLC, with whom Ince & Co Singapore has a Formal Law Alliance.

We have been advising clients in the renewable energy sector for over ten years, representing leading international contractors, service companies, developers, operators, and utility companies. Our advice covers the full spectrum of renewable energy projects including power plants. The focus in recent years has moved to offshore wind farm projects where we have advised on a large number of round one and two offshore wind farm projects in the UK, as well as various operational and planned projects in Denmark, Germany and France.

Our advice covers the drafting and negotiation of contracts and the financing of assets and projects. We regularly provide advice and support clients in respect of offshore wind farm supply vessel contracts; charter parties between contractors and energy companies for specialist vessels to be used in connection with hybrid offshore wind and gas farms; refurbishment and operation of hydro-electric plants as well as related guarantee and repayment issues; and contracts for the construction of wind farm installation vessels.

Kongsberg Company Overview

Kongsberg Maritime provide key technology and proven solutions to customers engaged in the renewable energy, oil and gas, merchant marine and scientific research sectors.

The focus for this conference is our Subsea Environmental Monitoring group, and its technology and services for ‘Real Time’ scour monitoring of wind monopoles, substations and cables. Based on our latest ‘High Resolution’ sonar and visualisation software, Kongsberg can offer a complete monitoring service, where regular reports are submitted to the operator based on the rate and nature of the scour. Kongsberg can also provide advice on how the scour will affect the integrity of the monopole.

Kongsberg are working in partnership with Southampton University in developing a Scour prediction tool as an aid to planning and consent teams.

The group also provide autonomous acoustic noise measurement systems which measure and monitor underwater noise during all stages of project development.

Visit our stand to find out more about our Subsea Environmental Monitoring products and services.
